Language should communicate and connect, not separate.

Translation makes this wish a reality. It makes it possible not only to understand texts in a foreign language, at the same time it offers an entry to other cultures, other ways of thinking.

Communicating content depends on various requirements – a lecture, an essay, a catalog entry, or a program booklet in the final analysis are not the same. What is required is sensitivity and creativity in the use of language.

The goal is the perfect product, which in any case can only be achieved through close cooperation of the translator with the author, publisher, or editor.

To accomplish this is up to me and it is a challenge that I gladly undertake again and again.
